Lost

This application is intended to help you find your way around the Monash Caulfield library. Specifically, to link lost students and help them locate the way to the drinking fountain and the discussion rooms. Particularly, the fact that finding discussion rooms and the water refill station are two things I find the most challenging to locate in the Monash Caulfield Library. Especially, discussion rooms are concealed behind the PC station, and the water fountain is situated alone in a ground-level nook. Thus, students, faculty, and staff at Monash University, as well as visitors, often become lost in the library. Leaving them no choice but to have to contact their peers. Therefore, in order to avoid library visitors from getting lost, we as designers are eager to develop a way-finding application and an interactive digital signage. In hope that the presence of this application, “Lost” will help students to familiarise themselves in the library.
